More than an institutional campaign
Guardians of Paradise is much more than the slogan of the institutional campaign of Asturias Tourism. It is a movement with a clear philosophy: We believe in people. We believe in nature. We believe that good things are better when you share them. We believe that Asturias is Paradise and that everyone has the right to enjoy it. That is why we, its guardians, do everything necessary to make it so.
And you, do you want to be a Guardian of Paradise?
Fall in love with Asturias
Asturias has been living up to its slogan "Natural Paradise" for 30 years. With the best preserved coastline in Spain, an hour's drive from the high mountains, Asturias offers more than a third of its territory protected, and strongholds of traditional culture that will take you back to times when time passed more slowly. Land of indianos, ferreiros and vaqueiros, mountain of bears and capercaillies, coast of buffoons and surfers... Kingdom of kings, legends and mythological beings.
Asturias is that place where mountains incubate blue cheeses and cows climb impossible cliffs. Unusual images that make up the very personal routine of this Asturias that also boasts works by Niemeyer, Chillida, Ibarrola, Calatrava, Botero, Úrculo... The only place in the world where you can have your photo taken with Woody Allen and Mafalda on the same day, and without an appointment. And you still think you've seen it all?
And share your experience!
